The light source used was 2x Greenforce Marine 'Squid' 30W HID lamps mounted on lighting stands on either side of the camera. Full frame, uncorrected Full size cormer detail An uncorrected image is shown above. Optical performance is typical for an air-corrected lens behind a flat port. The image is free from processing artefacts, as should be expected with a 6M pixel camera. Correction is not necessary, but a useful improvement to be obtained if so desired. The image corrected for pincushion distortion and chromatic aberration using Panorama Tools, with slight adjustments to contrast and colour balance using Photoshop, is shown below.
